Last May 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm, the Hair.ph team finally met Orville, the lucky winner of our very first blogging contest. The team accompanied him to Jonas Borces’ Salon at Tigbaw Talamban, Cebu City. Our winner is originally from Iligan City and a graduate of BS Electronics and Communications Engineering from the university of CIT.

Fun Trivia: Orville was supposed to send his twin brother for the hair makeover instead of him since his brother’s hair is a bit longer than his.

Below are a few pictures from Orville’s trip to Jonas Borces Salon.

His makeover began with a quick shampoo to clean his hair

The next step was to color his hair. Jonas opted to combine two colors to achieve a wonderful look that would fit Orville’s personality. Dark brown was the base while a lighter shade was used for the highlights.

The hair highlights was a bit complicated and time consuming but it was worth it.

The makeover lasted for 3 to 4 hours and after that lengthy “pa-gwapo” session. Orville can luxuriate in a relaxing aromatherapy massage at Meddah Spa.

The Hair.ph “invader crew” last Monday, were on the look out for some of the most outstanding tresses at Robinson’s Mall, Cebu City. A few slipped past them but these four fantastic hairdos were all too good to pass up.
