The newest craze in town- the Boys Over Flowers mania! After the traditional exceptional hit of Meteor Garden, ABS-CBN has come up another famous story of an ordinary girl and four dazzling and prominent guys of F4 in the Korean version, Boys Over Flowers.

Many are actually wondering why this Koreanovela has instantly become a hit in the Philippines though it was just aired barely a month ago. The answer is simple! It was not only because of the beautiful Cinderella-like story but also of the hairstyle that these main cast wear. Just like the Taiwan’s F4, Filipinos became fascinated with their hairstyle a few years ago. Filipinos even tried to mimic their hair cuts just to say that they are updated with the trend.

Asian hairstyles are gaining popularity these days. So, let’s sum up the hairstyle of Boy Over Flowers F4 to have a hint of what you should wear next.

Have you ever asked yourself about the secrets of Kim Bum? Playing the role of So Yi Jung, the hairstyle of Kim Bum is definitely one of his great assets except of course of his attractive chinky eyes and killer smile. Kim Bum is wearing a medium-long straight shag hairstyle which is deemed as a truly conservative Asian hairstyle that is perfect for Asian men. An ideal thing about his hairstyle is that it could fit for almost every career and ever individual.

Song Woo Bin played by Kim Joon is another boy next door member of F4. The Don Juan of F4, he is wearing the same hairstyle as So Yi Jung which makes him perfect to be regarded as a prince of real estate.

Perm hairstyle formerly hit the Korean ladies, now this hair trend has tapped the Korean men. The fame of the wave perm is as well due to the appearance from the famous Korean actors in ad, film and drama who act with their light wavy hair. One of the most new wavy Asian hairstyles is the perm hairstyle of Goo Joon Pyo who was played by Lee Minho. Goo Joon Pyo is now considered another wavy hairstyle trendsetter.

Yoon Ji Hoo, the silent and the shy type of F4 has exposed two Asian hairstyles in the Boys Over Flowers. Played by Kim Hyun Joong, his hair before was medium long and with lighter color. He recently altered it to darker brown short layered hair. His new hairstyle is believed to suit him and makes him look even better.

We’re done with the gentlemen of F4. For the bonus, let’s also talk a bit about the hairstyle of the lead female character of the story.

Geum Jan Di, played by the twenty five-year old Goo Hye Sun. Some people are not in favor of her playing the role because of her age. Wearing a medium bob hairstyle with bangs, Goo Hye Sun looks 8 years younger in the story.
