The glory we call Hair!

How we wear and treat our hair can speak volume. Our hairstyles seem to be an important part of our personality. Hairstyling projects our best qualities.

Today, thousands of magazines and websites feature the latest trend in hair fashion, specially, hairstyles of celebrities. Most of us are guilty spending tons of money on all kinds of magazines exploring the hair trend pages for the perfect hairstyle. But the dilemma we encounter is that styles do come and go. A celebrity hair would greatly influence the latest trend in hair fashion. We look at them to get ideas for new hairstyles, taking all the basics and customizes it for our own personal look.

There are a lot of options to make changes to our hair, like changing the color, adding layers, adding length or thickness with extensions, and the old style bangs.

Short hairstyles are coming back into fashion, ideal for this 21st century and fast-paced lifestyle. Many would feel that it gives a person a young sophisticated look. Straight hairstyles are the most natural hairstyling one can have. Celebrity hairstyles are where most hairstylists and women get their ideas from and even men who are also into good grooming.

This year, the most popular hairstyle would be the layered, choppy, short to long haircut.
Different hairstyles in season

Sedu

This hairstyle takes its name from one of the most popular ceramic flatiron that celebrities use in creating sleek and smooth hair styles. A number of celebrities have taken this and adapted their hairstyles last year to naturally blend with these year’s new trends.

Layered long straight haircut

Layers are usually more flattering, framing a person’s face, giving it a little more edgy look. Layered hairstyle is suitable for everyone. It adds volume and the easiest way to update one’s hairstyle. It gives you a more modern look regardless whether your hair is long or short.

Jennifer Aniston loves the straight look and manages to pull off with grace and elegance no matter what she is wearing, she has always possessed the style that is so much in fashion today.

Curly, Sexy

Keeping the hair straight and creating curls is a great twist on the Sedu hairstyles for longer hair, curls gather at the very tips of your hair. This creates one sexy and elegant look for any occasion.
This season moves towards more glamorous, luscious, groomed looking curls with a retro 1940’s feel.

Long Hairstyle

,,

Long hair is still fashionable, you can easily add bulk and definition with some layers and curls, you’ll never go wrong as long as you are willing to put in the time to style it, add a few hair accessories and you’re sure way to flaunt it!

Kate Hudson wears hers sleek, Lindsay Lohan plaits her long hair for extra texture, volume and life, and Hayden Panettiere tousles her long locks.

Healthy, shiny hair is the most fashionable thing for long hair. It will always look good, even without too much effort.

Fringes

,

This year, fringes are worn super short, eye tickling, visor-like and layered. Rock chicks Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe have been seen sporting side sweep fringes. Hilary Duff and Cameron Diaz opted for super short heavy and blunt fringes. Christina Ricci and Brittany Murphy opted for peep-thru fringes.

Updo

This season, Updos have a little more attitude, as compared to ponytails. You can add some attitude to any updo with back combed sections. Hayden Panettiere accessorizes an updo, using big bows. Sarah Michelle Gellar wears intricate braided updos, which offer suitable and is practical for daytime look and offers a dramatic evening look.

Pony tails

,

Pony tails are practical and stylish. This year’s pony tails are more than just scraped back hair. The actual pony tail should be scrunched or crimped for a full-bodied textured look
Cate Blanchett wore half pony tails, easy to style, just as it sounds, tie back half the hair, leaving lots of soft strands, a less severe form of updo.

Short

Short hair is very practical and easy to maintain. This year, of course the best example of a brave short crop is worn by Victoria Beckham. Color adds texture to short hairstyles and this year, red shades are totally in!

Mid length

Mid length is sleek and sophisticated, like Paris Hilton, and Alexa Chung. Mid length styles are versatile and great when growing out shorter styles. You can wear it up for cropped effect or loose for a feminine look. Fringe adds some edginess to a mid-length hairstyle, Kate Moss wears a good example of a nice mid length hairstyle this year.

Bob cut

Precision cut bobs are huge this year, coupled with smooth, sleek styling, a blunt fringe and heaps of shine.

Bob cuts range from ear level to shoulder and are best for straight or slightly wavy hair.
Katie Holmes use this but this bob hairstyle works best on straight hair and the bangs should be completely blunt and straight and cut just above the eyebrow.

We always try to mimic celebrity hairstyles. Most hair fashion trends begin after a celebrity has worn them.
